Word of Life

The word of God says: “Let thine heart retain my words: keep my commandments, and live” (Proverbs 4:4).

“For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God” (Colossians 3:3).

Jesus Christ says: “It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life” (John 6:63).

“I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness. And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world. He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day” (John 12:46-48).

“Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away” (Matthew 24:34–35).

“Forever, O Lord, thy word is settled in heaven” (Psalm 119:89).

Paradise of God

“There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High. Glorious things are spoken of thee, O city of God. Selah” (Psalm 46:4, 87:3).

“He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God” (Revelation 2:7).

Trust in the LORD

“Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.  In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil. It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones. Honour the LORD with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase. So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine” (Proverbs 3:5-10).

 

Where is God?

“Am I a God at hand, saith the LORD, and not a God afar off?” (Jeremiah 23:23).

“Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning” (James 1:17).

“This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us” (1 John 1:5-10).

Way of life

“The way of life is above to the wise, that he may depart from hell beneath” (Proverbs 15:24).
