Religion versus GOSPEL OF GOD.

Over time numerous religions have evolved in this world with an emphasis on hierarchical organizations and their own doctrines. During his time Jesus admonished his disciples against such things when they wanted to know who among them would be the leader, he provided an answer by drawing a comparison of the religious practices of that day.

Jesus expressed to his disciples, said: “But all their works they do for to be seen of men; they make broad their phylacteries, and enlarge the borders of their garments, and love the uppermost rooms at feasts, and the chief seats in the synagogues, and greetings in the markets, and to be called of men, Rabbi, Rabbi. But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Christ; and all ye are brethren. And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven” (Matthew 23:5–9).

James, the brother of Jesus also expressed about religion, said: “If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man’s religion is vain. Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world” (James 1:26-27).

Jesus’ disciple Peter also said: “Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf. For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God? And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear? Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator” (1 Peter 4:16-19).

“Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied. To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you” (1 Peter 1:2, 4).

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead; to an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you, who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time” (1 Peter 1:3–5).

GOSPEL OF GOD in the House of God?

In our present time there are innumerable church denominations that have have developed since the time of the early churches.

However, we are to be very careful when we decide to have fellowship of worship in any chuech because the word of God says:

“Keep thy foot when thou goest to the house of God, and be more ready to hear, than to give the sacrifice of fools: for they consider not that they do evil” (Ecclesiastes 5:1).

“He that burneth incense, as if he blessed an idol. Yea, they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delighteth in their abominations” (Isaiah 66:3).

“The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the LORD: but the prayer of the upright is his delight. The way of the wicked is an abomination unto the LORD: but he loveth him that followeth after righteousness” (Proverbs 15:8-9).

“For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, [WHAT SHALL THE END BE OF THEM THAT OBEY NOT THE GOSPEL OF GOD]? And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?” (1 Peter 4:17-18).

Jesus, the only begotten Son of God is very clear when he comes, says: “Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven” (Matthew 7:21). “For many are called, but few are chosen” (Matthew 22:14).

G O D: Who will see GOD?

“No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him” (John 1:18).

The only begotten Son, JESUS says: “God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth” (John 4:24).

The Apostle Paul further expressed said: “So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God” (Romans 8:8).

To see and be with God and Jesus in the eternal habitations in heavens at the end of this world human beings must become quickening spirits (John 5:21–22).

Jesus says: “It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life” (John 6:63).

The Apostle Paul also explained, said: “Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption” (1 Corinthians 15:50).

“But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness” (Romans 8:9-10).

“Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh. For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live” (Romans 8:12-13).

“The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together” (Romans 8:16-17).

“Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting” (Galatians 6:7-8).

Who is G O D?

“God is the LORD, which hath shewed us light:” (Psalm 118:27).

“Thus saith the LORD the maker thereof, the LORD that formed it, to establish it; the LORD is his name” (Jeremiah 33:2).

“Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves” (Psalm 100:3). “And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul” (Genesis 2:7).

“LORD, thou hast been our dwelling place in all generations. Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God” (Psalm 90:1-2).

“Thus saith the LORD, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches: But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the LORD which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the LORD” (Jeremiah 9:23-24).

“Blessed be the LORD God of Israel from everlasting to everlasting: and let all the people say, Amen. Praise ye the LORD” (Psalm 106:48).

CELESTIAL vesus Terrestrial.

“There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another. So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption. It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body” (1 Corinthians 15:40, 42, 44).

When Jesus arose from the dead, he obtained a celestial body. At the end of time, those who are rewarded with the gift of eternal light can die no more and will become equal to the angels, being the children of God and the children of the resurrection (Matthew 20:36).

“For as the Father rises up the dead, and quickeneth them; even so the Son quickeneth whom he will. For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son” (John 5:21–22).

“And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit” (1 Corinthians 15:45).

“Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality” (1 Corinthians 15:50-51, 53).

Jesus is the only way to get to the New Heavens and a New earth where is the New Jerusalem (John 5:21–22, 14:2–3). “And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly” (1 Corinthians 15:47–49).

GOD is the ONLY C R E A T O R.

In this present time, much is been heralded about a coming new age where there will be humans and robots living in a new world. Scientists and many other people believe that in the foreseeable future it would be possible for humans to download their thoughts into a ‘human cloned’ or ‘humanoid’ body and continue to live forever in what is known as “Transhumanism”.

Every human being would be wise to keep into remembrance how the devil and his angels were created mightier than humans “which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation” (Jude 1:6), and “God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment” (2 Peter 2:4).

“These are the workers of iniquity fallen: they are cast down, and shall not be able to rise” (Psalm 36:12).

Surely, human beings who are created lower than angels would most certainly not be able to usurp the Power of God by making humanoid robots to live forever.

Notwithstanding, the beauty and the artificial intelligence of humanoid robots, they will never be human; they are just a machine with programs – pull the power or stop the program, and the robot stops functioning.

Furthermore, we as human beings must be reminded that while we all are alive now, we are not to be deceived with the things of this world because heaven and earth will pass away one day.

When God created human beings, he only gave us a “…breath of life” (Genesis 2:7); we do not have life. “For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God” (Colossians 3:3).

“And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent: Because he hath [APPOINTED A DAY], in the which he will [JUDGE THE WORLD IN RIGHTEOUSNESS BY THAT MAN WHOM HE HATH ORDAINED]; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead” (Acts 17:30-31).

“For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself; and hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man” (John 5:26–27).

Jesus, the only begotten Son of God says: “Search the Scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me. And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life” (John 5:39–40).

“I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me” (John 14:6).

“God hath spoken once; twice have I heard this; that power belongeth unto God. Also unto thee, O Lord, belongeth mercy: for thou renderest to every man according to his work” (Psalm 62:11-12).

“Blessed be the LORD God of Israel from everlasting to everlasting: and let all the people say, Amen. Praise ye the LORD” (Psalm 106:48).

JESUS SAVES | SAVE YOUR SOUL

“O earth, earth, earth, hear the word of the LORD” (Jeremiah 22:29).

“Am I a God at hand, saith the LORD, and not a God afar off?” (Jeremiah 23:23).

“For all the earth is mine” (Exodus 19:5).

“Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else” (Isaiah 45:22).

“Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die” (Ezekiel 18:4).

“Have I any pleasure at all that the wicked should die? saith the Lord GOD: and not that he should return from his ways, and live? For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith the Lord GOD: wherefore turn yourselves, and live ye” (Ezekiel 18:23, 32).

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God” (John 3:16-18).

“He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed” (John 8:36).

What are the keys sign indicating the imminent return of Jesus?

The key signs will be in the JERUSALEM.

What did our Lord, Savior and King explain to his disciples when they asked: “Tell us, when shall these things be? And what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?” (Matthew 24:3).

“When ye therefore shall [SEE THE ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION], spoken of by Daniel the prophet, [STAND IN THE HOLY PLACE], standing where it ought not (whoso readeth, let him understand)” (Matthew 24:15).

“And when ye shall [SEE JERUSALEM COMPASSED WITH ARMIES], then know that the desolation thereof is nigh” (Luke 21:20).

“Then let them which be in Judæa flee into the mountains. Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house. Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes. And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days! But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day. PRAY For PEACE, PATIENCE AND PERSEVERANCE.

Without any doubt we will face trials and tribulations in our lifetime.

When we do not know what to pray for, simply pray for peace, patience and perseverance to endure the day to the end.

Every day that we endure to the end is one day closer to the coming day of our Lord Jesus Christ who says:

“The world cannot hate you; but me it hateth, because I testify of it, that the works thereof are evil” (John 7:7).

“These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world” (John 16:33).

“I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen” (Matthew 28:20).

What does the Holy Scriptures, the word of God say?

When JESUS, the only begotten Son of God was here on earth his disciples yearned to know the sign of his coming. As it is written:

“And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world? And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you” (Matthew 24:3-4).

Jesus further explained to his disciples, saying: “When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) [THEN LET THEM WHICH BE IN JUDÆA FLEE INTO THE MOUNTAINS]” (Matthew 24:15-16).

“[FOR THEN SHALL BE GREAT TRIBULATION], such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened” (Matthew 24:21-22).

Although, there will be signs prior to his coming, no man can predict when Jesus is coming because ONLY God knows.

Finally, there is no such thing as the world being “reset” because the word of God clearly says: “…the sign of thy coming, and of the [END OF THE WORLD]…” and Jesus also says: “…HEAVEN AND EARTH SHALL PASS AWAY…”

“For, behold, the day cometh that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the Lord of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch” (Malachi 4:1).

“Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire” (Jude 1:7).
