Serve God

Jesus says: “No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon” (Matthew 6:24).

We cannot serve God and money. Every day we are to serve God by building treasures in heaven.

Jesus also says: “Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal. But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal. For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also” (Matthew 6:19-21).

God is Light

“This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all” (1 John 1:5).

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16).

Jesus, the only begotten Son of God says: “No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day” (John 6:44).

“For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son: That all men should honor the Son, even as they honor the Father. He that honoreth not the Son honoreth not the Father which hath sent him. For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself; and hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man” (John 5: 22–23, 26–27).

“Wherefore God saith: ‘Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light’” (Ephesians 5:14).

Light of Life

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16).

“Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father” (1 John 2:23).

Jesus, the only begotten Son of God says: “I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life” (John 8:12).

“I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?” (John 11:25-26).

“No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day” (John 6:44).

“Wherefore God saith: ‘Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light’” (Ephesians 5:14).

“This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all” (1 John 1:5).

Glowing word God

“Great is our LORD, and of great power: his understanding is infinite” (Psalm 147:5).

“God hath spoken once; twice have I heard this; that power belongeth unto God” (Psalm 62:11).

No human or secret cabal of humans on this earth has power! “For God is in heaven, and thou upon earth” (Ecclesiastes 5:2). Jude reminded us how the angels, created mightier than humans, “which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation” (Jude 1:6), were cast out of heaven down to beneath this earth. Therefore, “cease ye from man, whose breath is in his nostrils: for wherein is he to be accounted of?” (Isaiah 2:22).

“Great is our LORD, and of great power: his understanding is infinite” (Psalm 147:5).

“Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else” (Isaiah 45:22).
Power of God

God

“Have ye not known? have ye not heard? hath it not been told you from the beginning? have ye not understood from the foundations of the earth? It is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in” (Isaiah 40:21-22).

“Am I a God at hand, saith the Lord, and not a God afar off?” (Jeremiah 23:23).

“For all the earth is mine” (Exodus 19:5).

“Behold, the eyes of the LORD God are upon the sinful kingdom, and I will destroy it from off the face of the earth; saving that I will not utterly destroy the house of Jacob, saith the LORD” (Amos 9:8).

“The eyes of the LORD are in every place, beholding the evil and the good” (Proverbs 15:3).

“For all the earth is mine” (Exodus 19:5).

Perhaps one of the most misconceptions and misunderstandings is that God is not present in this world. Untold numbers of people hold beliefs that God does not know what is taking place on this earth.

“Am I a God at hand, saith the Lord, and not a God afar off?” (Jeremiah 23:23).

“For all the earth is mine” (Exodus 19:5).

“He that planted the ear, shall he not hear? he that formed the eye, shall he not see?” (Psalm 84:9).

“The eyes of the LORD are in every place, beholding the evil and the good” (Proverbs 15:3).

“Behold, the eyes of the LORD God are upon the sinful kingdom, and I will destroy it from off the face of the earth; saving that I will not utterly destroy the house of Jacob, saith the LORD” (Amos 9:8).

“…whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap…”

“Now the body is not for fornication, but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body. Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body” (1 Corinthians 6:13, 18).

“There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit” (Romans 8:1).

“Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting” (Galatians 6:7–8).

Great period of Tribulation:

Jesus asked a question that we must all keep at the forefront of our minds, hearts and souls: “Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?” (Luke 18:8).

Especially, the last years of time before the end of the world, will try the faith of all people on this earth when there will rise rise to power a king of fierce countenance (Daniel 8:23–25) in the spirit of the wicked one, the fallen son of God, the son of perdition, aka, the Devil, Satan whose name is Lucifer (Revelation 13:16–17).

Paul said to: “Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you?” (2 Corinthians 13:5).

Jesus encouraged saying: “In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world” (John 16:33).

“Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life” (Revelation 2:10).

End Of Days

Last years

We must live in faith every day with our feet firm in the gospel because the day is coming when life we know will be changed drastically. Jesus has told us that “All these are the beginning of sorrows” (Matthew 24:6-8).

Unfortunatley, untold numbers of people refuse, reject or even redicule the word of God. Jesus encourages us when he says: ought to pray and not faint (Luke 18:1) because the Scriptures says “if thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength is small” (Proverbs 24:10).

“Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us” (Psalm 62:8).

“The LORD is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him” (Nahum 1:7).
