Time is ticking away

Time as we read this word is ticking away; literally ticking away. As a movie clicking away at the last frames which will soon end, or as water pouring out of a glass which will become empty, so too one day time will run out and this earth will pass away (1 Peter 21:33) (Mark 13:31) (2 Peter 3:10).

There is no stopping time, changing time, or reversing time because at the set time, habitation on this earth will end (Revelation 11:18). Since God has appointed the time of habitation of this earth and that of every life on this earth, we would be best to seek to obtain that which God has hidden for us before the beginning of time. This is the most important decision of our life, which we need to be on time for in our lifetime, because one day time will come to a full end (Revelation 10:5-6).

“Behold, the Lord maketh the earth empty, and maketh it waste, and turneth it upside down, and scattereth abroad the inhabitants thereof” (Isaiah 24:1). “And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, ‘It is done.’” (Revelation 16:17–18, 20–21).

 

Coming of the Lord

“Be ye also patient; stablish your heart: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh” (James 5:8).
“Behold, he cometh with clouds; and [EVERY EYE SHALL SEE HIM], and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen” (Revelation 1:7).

God is Most High

“For great is our God above all gods” (2 Chronicles 2:5).

“For the LORD is great, and greatly to be praised: he is to be feared above all gods. For all the gods of the nations are idols: but the LORD made the heavens” (Psalm 96:4–5).

Follow Jesus Christ

Jesus specifically warned, said: “No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the Kingdom of God” (Luke 9:62).

“Then said Jesus unto his disciples, ‘If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me’” (Matthew 16:24).

We follow Jesus not just yesterday, today or tomorrow but, forever!

Eternal Life

“Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever” (Hebrews 13:8).

Jesus Christ says: “Search the Scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me. And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life” (John 5:39–40).

“I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me” (John 14:6).

Jesus is my Lord, Savior and King

“Whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is an enemy of God” (James 4:4).

“Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth forever” (1 John 2:15–17).

“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God” (Romans 12:2).

“God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth” (John 4:24).

“THERE is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit” (Romans 8:1).

My Light and Salvation

“The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?” (Psalm 27:1).

“(For we walk by faith, not by sight)” (2 Corinthians 5:7): knowing that we are followers of Jesus Christ who “is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature, the Son of God, the faithful and true witness of God and that the trial of our faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honor and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ. Whom having not seen, we love; in whom, though we now see him not, yet believing, we rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory. Receiving the end of our faith, even the salvation of our souls” (1 Peter 1:7–9).

The Last Day on Earth

“And it shall come to pass in that day, that the light shall not be clear, nor dark: But it shall be one day which shall be known to the LORD, not day, nor night: but it shall come to pass, that at evening time it shall be light; in the summer and winter it will be” (Zechariah 14: 6–7, 8).

Word of God

The Holy Scriptures says: “Forever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven” (Psalm 119:89). “It is he that buildeth his stories in the heaven, and hath founded his troop in the earth; he that calleth for the waters of the sea, and poureth them out upon the face of the earth: The LORD is his name” (Amos 9:6).

Word of Life

The word of God says: “Let thine heart retain my words: keep my commandments, and live” (Proverbs 4:4).

“For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God” (Colossians 3:3).

Jesus Christ says: “It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life” (John 6:63).

“I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness. And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world. He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day” (John 12:46-48).

“Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away” (Matthew 24:34–35).

“Forever, O Lord, thy word is settled in heaven” (Psalm 119:89).
