Day and Night

“IN the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.
And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day” (Genesis 1:1-5).

Jesus, God’s only begotten Son said: “Are there not twelve hours in the day?” If any man walk in the day, he stumbleth not, because he seeth the light of this world. But if a man walk in the night, he stumbleth, because there is no light in him” (John 11:9-10).

How many hours are in a night?

Are there really twenty fours in a day? The answer is unequivocally, no. There are tweleve (12) hours in a day.
Jesus, God’s only begotten Son asked: “Are there not twelve hours in the day?” If any man walk in the day, he stumbleth not, because he seeth the light of this world. But if a man walk in the night, he stumbleth, because there is no light in him” (John 11:9-10).

Now, many people are quick to point out saying” “that was in the old time, and this is a new age of time. Let us never forget, “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever” (Hebrews 13:8).

Are there 24 or 12 hours in a day?

So then, how many hours are there in a day? Twenty four hours? To arrive at the correct answer we must seek the answer in the word of God because God created this heaven and earth {Genesis 1:1).

When God created this heaven and earth, he divided the light from the darkness. God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night; and the evening and the morning were the first day (Genesis 1:3-5). When it is midday, it is the middle of the day, and at midnight, it is the middle of the night. There are only twelve hours in a day (John 11:9-10).

Eternal Life or everlasting punishment?

Day of Judgment: Before Jesus Christ there will be two groups: The children of God, the “sheep” or the righteous on his RIGHT hand; and the children of the devil, the “goats” or the unrighteous on his LEFT hand.

Jesus explains, saying:

“When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory; and before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats; and he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, ‘Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world’” (Matthew 25:31–34).

“Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the Devil and his angels. And these shall go away into everlasting punishment. And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal” (Matthew 25:41, 46).

The way of a lifetime

On the road of this lifetime there will be an end: “For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad” (2 Corinthians 5:10).
Believe in God, the Father; Jesus, the Son; and the Holy Spirit. To believe in anything else is an absolute waste of a lifetime.

“In the way of righteousness is life; and in the pathway thereof there is no death” (Proverbs 12:28).

Do not be deceived!

Deception, deceit, dishonesty!

The word of God explains, saying: “And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him” (Revelation 12:9).

The prince of this world, the devil aka Satan uses riches, beauty as a disguise to deceive the whole world. Do not be deceived! A man born a man will always be a man; and a woman born a woman will always ne a woman! Absolutely no man can change a man into a woman or vice versa!

Jesus says: “From the beginning of the creation God made them male and female; and they twain shall be one flesh: so then they are no more twain, but one flesh” (Mark 10:6, 8).

Two categories of people: Children of God or children of the devil

Nothwithsatnding that there are over seven (7) billion people on this earth, the word of God tells us that there are two categories of people: Children of God or children of the devil.

“Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother. For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another. Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother’s righteous. Marvel not, my brethren, if the world hate you. We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death. Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him” (1 John 3:9-15).

Spirit of God or the anti-christ?

“Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world” (1 John 4:1-8).

The Crosses

Eternal Life or wrath of God

Jesus was sent by his Father to this earth to be a witness and to bear record of the truth, the word of life (John 3:16).

“For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved” (John 3:17)

“Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God” (1 John 4:15).

“Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father” (1 John 2:23).

“He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him” (John 3:36).

“For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness” (Romans 1:18).
