We must be careful of the words we speak:

Unfortunately, very unfortunately, a person once remarked: “I am offended by somethings in the Bible”. To be offended by somethings written in the Bible is to be offended by God: God forbid!

“MAN that is born of a woman is of few days, and full of trouble. He cometh forth like a flower, and is cut down: he fleeth also as a shadow, and continueth not.
Who can bring a clean thing out of an unclean? not one. Seeing his days are determined, the number of his months are with thee, thou hast appointed his bounds that he cannot pass;
So man lieth down, and riseth not: till the heavens be no more, they shall not awake, nor be raised out of their sleep” (Job 14:1-2, 4-5, 12).

Jesus says: “It is written, that man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God” (Luke 4:4). “But I say unto you, that every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the Day of Judgment. For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned” (Matthew 12:36-37).

“He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the Last Day” (John 12:48).

“Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away” (Matthew 24:35).

Day of Judgment

One more awards show, and then there will be another and another worldly awards show. However, the day is coming when there will be true rewards handed out on this earth.

“For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad” (2 Corinthians 5:10).

“And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt” (Daniel 12:2).

Jesus says: “To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it” (Revelation 2:17).

“To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne” (Revelation 3:21).

“And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be” (Revelation 22:12).

Emergence

New Heavens and a New Earth are in the Heavens

“For since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye seen, O God, beside thee, what he hath prepared for him that waiteth for him” (Isaiah 64:4).

“For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind. Be ye glad and rejoice forever in that which I create” (Isaiah 65:17-18).

“Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless” (2 Peter 3:14).

“The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree:..” (Psalm 92:12).

As difficult as it maybe to awake every morning, even to the sound of an alarm clock, keep in our hearts, minds and souls why King Jesus came to this earth. He said: “I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly” (John 10:10). Our best life is not now and will never be on this earth.

Now, looking at God’s creations on this earth such as a perfect beach setting, imagining a weekend or vacation getaway; we can only try to imagine what God has prepared in the new heavens and earth to come at the end of time (Isaiah 65:17-18) (Revelation 21:1-2).

“Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised in the city of our God, in the mountain of his holiness; God will establish it forever” (Psalm 48:1, 8).

We must pray every day to endure this lifetime and to grow and flourish as the palm tree (Psalm 92:12) to one day inherit eternal life in the Paradise of God (Revelation 2:7).

When will time end?

Jesus says: “And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come” (Matthew 24:14).

“But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only” (Matthew 24:36).

“Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come” (Matthew 24:42).

The Face Of Christ In The Sky

What about the “rights” of the poor?

Another awards show where the stage was set to promote or to bring awareness to some “causes” and “rights”! Yet, we live is a world where hardly any attention is made to the “rights” of the poor!

The Scriptures tells us that “The profit of the earth is for all: the king himself is served by the field” (Ecclesiastes 5:9).

However, this is not what has transpired in the world. What kind of world is this where a recent article headlined: “World’s eight richest people have same wealth as poorest 50%”.

There are over one billion people living on the edge of poverty in this world and perhaps, “causes” and “rights” of the poor should take center stage every day in this world!

“Riches profit not in the day of wrath: but righteousness delivereth from death” (Proverbs 11:4).

“Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy; that they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate; laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come” (1 Timothy 6:17–19).

Jesus says: “Woe unto you that are rich; for ye have received your consolation” (Luke 6:24).

Holy Cross

A lifetime; this is not Life:

“Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God” (Colossians 3:2–3).

Being alive on this earth does not mean that we have life: this is only a lifetime.

“For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive” (1 Corinthians 15:21–22).
Bright Cross Beaming In The Sky

Water of life is in the Paradise of God:

“THE Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John:” (Revelation 1:1) as it is written:

“AND I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God” (Revelation 21:1-3).

“I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star. And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely” (Revelation 22:16-17).
Moonrise over water

Paradise of God

“The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John: Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw. Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand” (Revelation 1:1-3).

“AND he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.
In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him:
And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads.
And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.
And he said unto me, These sayings are faithful and true: and the Lord God of the holy prophets sent his angel to shew unto his servants the things which must shortly be done.
Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book” (Revelation 22:1-7).

Light over the horizon

City of God

“The LORD hath prepared his throne in the heavens; and his kingdom ruleth over all” (Psalm 103:19).

“Glorious things are spoken of thee, O city of God. Selah” (Psalm 87:3).

“Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised in the city of our God, in the mountain of his holiness; God will establish it forever” (Psalm 48:1, 8).

In the Book of Revelation, Jesus revealed to John by the angel of God saying: “He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God” (Revelation 2:7).

“And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city” (Revelation 22:12-14).The Book Of Revelation
