Remember the FAITH of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego in the days of old during the reign of King Nebuchadnezzar, the Third World King over the world Kingdom of Babylon (Daniel 2:49; 3:1-27).

The Seventh and Last World Kingdom is COMING, and untold numbers of people are frightened, fearful and frenzied about the coming last years of time when there will rise to power two wicked to rule from Jerusalem over the Last World Kingdom (Daniel 8:23–24; 11:36–37).

This period will lead up to the period of the Great Tribulation which many people fear and have found comfort in the false doctrine of the “rapture” believing that Jesus will come as a thief in the night to take them off the earth to escape this period.

DO NOT BE DECEIVED! There will be NO RAPTURE!

However, for those who believe in this fable, fantasy and fiction, and are having difficulty coming to knowledge of the truth, need to go back in time to see the patience, courage and FAITHFULNESS  of three men – Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego during the reign of King Nebuchadnezzar over the Babylon world kingdom (Daniel 2:49).

King Nebuchadnezzar had made a very large golden image. On the dedication of this image a decree was established which commanded all people and languages throughout Babylon on the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, dulcimer, and all kinds of musical instruments, to fall down and worship the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up. Everyone who did not fall down and worship the image would be at that same hour cast into the midst of a burning fiery furnace (Daniel 3:3–6).

Many of the Chaldeans complained to the king that Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego refused to worship the gods of the king and to bow down to worship the image which was set up (Daniel 3:12). The king then requested that Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego be brought before him.

“Nebuchadnezzar spake and said unto them, ‘Is it true, O Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, do not ye serve my gods, nor worship the golden image which I have set up?’” (Daniel 3:14).

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, answered and said to the king, ‘O Nebuchadnezzar, we are not careful to answer thee in this matter. If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king’” (Daniel 3:16–17).

King Nebuchadnezzar was furious and he ordered that the furnace be heated seven times more than usual, “and these three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, fell down bound into the midst of the burning fiery furnace” (Daniel 3:23).

The king then inquired whether it was three men who were cast into the furnace and it was confirmed to be so. However, the king said, “Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God” (Daniel 3:25).

Then Nebuchadnezzar came near to the mouth of the burning fiery furnace, and spake, and said, ‘Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, ye servants of the most High God, come forth, and come hither.’ Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, came forth of the midst of the fire” (Daniel 3:26).

When they came out of the furnace there was not any hair of their head singed, neither were their coats changed, or the smell of fire was on them (Daniel 3:27).

For those alive when the Antichrist and then Satan, the Seventh and Eighth World Kings rises to power in the Seventh and Last world kingdom, have NO FEAR.

BELIEVE our Lord JESUS when he says, ““Be thou [FAITHFUL] unto death…” (Revelation 2:10). “But there shall not a hair of your head perish. In your patience possess ye your souls” (Luke 21:16–19).

REMEMBER SHADRACH, MESHACH, AND ABED-NEGO did not perish when they were cast into the furnace of fire (Daniel 3:25)!

Our Lord Jesus also says: “[BLESSED ARE THEY THAT HEAR THE WORD] of God, and keep it” (Luke 11:28). “It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: [THE WORDS THAT I SPEAK UNTO YOU, THEY ARE SPIRIT, AND THEY ARE LIFE]” (John 6:63).

“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that [HEARETH MY WORD], and [BELIEVETH] on him that sent me, hath [EVERLASTING LIFE], and shall not come into condemnation; but is [PASSED FROM DEATH UNTO LIFE]” (John 5:24).

“Verily, verily, I say unto you, If a man keep my saying, he shall [NEVER SEE DEATH]” (John 8:51).

“[FEAR NOT, LITTLE FLOCK]; for it is your Father’s [GOOD PLEASURE TO GIVE YOU THE KINGDOM]” (Luke 12:32).

“I am with you alway, [EVEN UNTO THE END OF THE WORLD]. Amen” (Matthew 28:20).

“[BETTER IS THE END OF A THING THAN THE BEGINNING THEREOF]: and the patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit” (Ecclesiastes 7:8).

Let us be reminded that the Apostle Paul said: “[FOR TO ME TO LIVE IS CHRIST, AND TO DIE IS GAIN]” (Philippians 1:21).

“A GOOD name is better than precious ointment; [AND THE DAY OF DEATH THAN THE DAY OF ONE’S BIRTH]” (Ecclesiastes 7:1).

“It is better to go to the house of mourning, than to go to the house of feasting: [FOR THAT IS THE END OF ALL MEN; AND THE LIVING WILL LAY IT TO HIS HEART]” (Ecclesiastes 7:2).

“Be not righteous over much; neither make thyself over wise: why shouldest thou destroy thyself?

Be not over much wicked, neither be thou foolish: why shouldest thou die before thy time?

It is good that thou shouldest take hold of this; yea, also from this withdraw not thine hand: for he that [FEARETH] God shall come forth of them all” (Ecclesiastes 7:16-18).

“[LET US HEAR THE CONCLUSION] of the whole matter: [FEAR GOD, AND KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS]: for this is the whole duty of man. For God shall bring EVERY WORK INTO JUDGMENT], with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil” (Ecclesiastes 12:13–14).

“[DEPART FROM EVIL, AND DO GOOD]; and dwell for evermore” (Psalms 37:27).

“The [FEAR] of the LORD is a [FOUNTAIN OF LIFE], to depart from the snares of death” (Proverbs 14:27).

“Blessed be the LORD God of Israel [FROM EVERLASTING, AND TO EVERLASTING]. Amen, and Amen” (Psalm 41:13).

JESUS is very clear when he says: “I am the resurrection, and the life: [HE THAT BELIEVETH IN ME, THOUGH HE WERE DEAD, YET SHALL HE LIVE]. And [WHOSOEVER LIVETH AND BELIEVETH IN ME SHALL NEVER DIE]. [BELIEVEST THOU THIS]?” (John 11:25-26).

GOD is a LIVING GOD. “[FOR HE IS NOT A GOD OF THE DEAD, BUT OF THE LIVING: FOR ALL LIVE UNTO HIM]” (Luke 20:38). Therefore, the Children of God will NOT SEE DEATH (John 5:24; 8:51; 11:25-26).

“Blessed be the LORD, who [DAILY] loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah. [HE THAT IS OUR GOD IS THE GOD OF SALVATION]; and unto God the LORD belong the [ISSUES FROM DEATH]” (Psalm 68:19-20).

Let us be reminded that the Apostle Paul said: “[FOR TO ME TO LIVE IS CHRIST, AND TO DIE IS GAIN]” (Philippians 1:21).

“For ye are dead, and your [LIFE] is hid with Christ in God” (Colossians 3:3).

“For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. [FOR AS IN ADAM ALL DIE, EVEN SO IN CHRIST SHALL ALL BE MADE ALIVE]” (1 Corinthians 15:21–22).

“Knowing that Christ being [RAISED FROM THE DEAD DIETH NO MORE]; [DEATH HATH NO MORE DOMINION OVER HIM]” (Romans 6:9).

Jesus also said: “Therefore doth my Father love me, because [I LAY DOWN MY LIFE, THAT I MIGHT TAKE IT AGAIN]. No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. [I HAVE POWER TO LAY IT DOWN, AND I HAVE POWER TO TAKE IT AGAIN]. This commandment have I received of my Father” (John 10:17-18).

“Verily, verily, I say unto you, [THE HOUR IS COMING, AND NOW IS], when the [DEAD SHALL HEAR THE VOICE] of the Son of God: and [THEY THAT HEAR SHALL LIVE]. For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself; And hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man. [MARVEL NOT AT THIS: FOR THE HOUR IS COMING, IN THE WHICH ALL THAT ARE IN THE GRAVES SHALL HEAR HIS VOICE], And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation” (John 5:25-29).

“Verily, verily, I say unto you, If a man keep my saying, he shall [NEVER SEE DEATH]” (John 8:51).

“It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: [THE WORDS THAT I SPEAK UNTO YOU, THEY ARE SPIRIT, AND THEY ARE LIFE]” (John 6:63).

“[I AM HE THAT LIVETH, AND WAS DEAD; AND, BEHOLD, I AM ALIVE FOR EVERMORE], Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death” (Revelation 1:18).

Remember Enoch? “And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him” (Genesis 5:24).

“By [FAITH] Enoch was translated [THAT HE SHOULD NOT SEE DEATH]; and was not found, because God had translated him: for [BEFORE HIS TRANSLATION HE HAD THIS TESTIMONY], that he PLEASED GOD” (Hebrews 11:5).

“But [WITHOUT FAITH] it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must [BELIEVE] that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him” (Hebrews 11:16).

Jesus, the Only Begotten Sn of God says: “IF THOU CANST BELIEVE, ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE TO HIM THAT BELIEVETH” (Mark 9:23).

“Verily, verily, I say unto you, [HE THAT BELIEVETH ON ME HATH EVERLASTING LIFE]. I am that bread of life” (John 6:47-48).

“[I AM HE THAT LIVETH, AND WAS DEAD; AND, BEHOLD, I AM ALIVE FOR EVERMORE], Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death” (Revelation 1:18).

“[IF A MAN DIE], shall he [LIVE AGAIN]?” (Job 14:14).

“[THERE IS NO MAN THAT HATH POWER OVER THE SPIRIT TO RETAIN THE SPIRIT; NEITHER HATH HE POWER IN THE DAY OF DEATH]: and there is no discharge in that war; neither shall wickedness deliver those that are given to it” (Ecclesiastes 8:8).

“[WHAT MAN IS HE THAT LIVETH, AND SHALL NOT SEE DEATH]? Shall he deliver his soul from the hand of the grave?” (Psalm 89:48).

GOD the LIVING GOD has provided human beings ONLY ONE WAY to obtain the TRUTH to obtain LIFE to LIVE AGAIN; and that is through the ONLY BEGOTTEN SON OF GOD (John 1:1-4; 14; 3:16; 14:6)!

“That whosoever [BELIEVETH IN HIM SHOULD] not perish, but [HAVE ETERNAL LIFE]” (John 3:15).

“[FOR AS IN ADAM ALL DIE, EVEN SO IN CHRIST SHALL ALL BE MADE ALIVE]” (1 Corinthians 15:22).

The Apostle Paul said: “[FOR TO ME TO LIVE IS CHRIST, AND TO DIE IS GAIN]” (Philippians 1:21).

“Knowing that Christ being [RAISED FROM THE DEAD DIETH NO MORE]; [DEATH HATH NO MORE DOMINION OVER HIM]” (Romans 6:9).

“[FOR SINCE BY MAN CAME DEATH, BY MAN CAME ALSO THE RESURRECTION OF THE DEAD]” (1 Corinthians 15:21).

“[IF YE THEN BE RISEN WITH CHRIST, SEEK THOSE THINGS WHICH ARE ABOVE, WHERE CHRIST SITTETH ON THE RIGHT HAND OF GOD]. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. For ye are dead, and your life is hid with christ in god. [WHEN CHRIST, WHO IS OUR LIFE, SHALL APPEAR, THEN SHALL YE ALSO APPEAR WITH HIM IN GLORY]” (Colossians 3:1-4).

JESUS CHRIST says: “Search the Scriptures; for in them ye think ye have [ETERNAL LIFE]: and they are they which testify of me. And ye will not [COME TO ME, THAT YE MIGHT HAVE LIFE]” (John 5:39–40).

“‘[HE THAT BELIEVETH ON ME, BELIEVETH NOT ON ME, BUT ON HIM THAT SENT ME]. And he that seeth me seeth him that sent me” (John 12:44-45).

“[FOR GOD] so loved the world, that he [GAVE HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON], that whosoever [BELIEVETH IN HIM SHOULD] not perish, but [HAVE EVERLASTING LIFE]” (John 3:16).

“Verily, verily, I say unto you, [HE THAT BELIEVETH ON ME HATH EVERLASTING LIFE]. I am that bread of life” (John 6:47-48).

“I am the resurrection, and the life: [HE THAT BELIEVETH IN ME, THOUGH HE WERE DEAD, YET SHALL HE LIVE]. And [WHOSOEVER LIVETH AND BELIEVETH IN ME SHALL NEVER DIE]. [BELIEVEST THOU THIS]?” (John 11:25-26).

“Verily, verily, I say unto you, [IF A MAN KEEP MY SAYING, HE SHALL NEVER SEE DEATH] (John 8:51).

“[FOR AS THE FATHER RAISETH UP THE DEAD, AND QUICKENETH THEM; EVEN SO THE SON QUICKENETH WHOM HE WILL]. For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son: [THAT ALL MEN SHOULD HONOUR THE SON, EVEN AS THEY HONOUR THE FATHER]. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him. Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and [BELIEVETH ON HIM THAT SENT ME, HATH EVERLASTING LIFE, AND SHALL NOT COME INTO CONDEMNATION; BUT IS PASSED FROM DEATH UNTO LIFE]” (John 5:21-24).

“[NO MAN CAN COME TO ME, EXCEPT THE FATHER WHICH HATH SENT ME DRAW HIM: AND I WILL RAISE HIM UP AT THE LAST DAY]” (John 6:44).

“[I AM THE WAY, THE TRUTH, AND THE LIFE]: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me” (John 14:6).

“[I AM HE THAT LIVETH, AND WAS DEAD; AND, BEHOLD, I AM ALIVE FOR EVERMORE], Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death” (Revelation 1:18).

GOOD FRIDAY: JESUS CRUCIFIED AND DIED ON THE CROSS AT THE NINTH HOUR (Mark 15:33-34. 38-39).

Today and every day of our lives when we drink a glass of water especially when we are thirsty, let us be reminded how much our Lord Jesus sacrificed for us on the DAY he was CRUCIFIED ON THE CROSS.

On the day our Lord Jesus was crucified, it was a very hot day as he suffered in the heat assuredly he requested a drink of water. However, the Roman soldiers did not give JESUS water to drink: “[THEY GAVE HIM VINEGAR TO DRINK MINGLED WITH GALL]: and [WHEN HE HAD TASTED THEREOF, HE WOULD NOT DRINK]” (Matthew 27:34).

“And when the sixth hour was come, there was darkness over the whole land until the ninth hour. And at the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, ‘Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani?’ which is, being interpreted, ‘My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?’ And Jesus cried with a loud voice, and gave up the ghost. And the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom. And when the centurion, which stood over against him, saw that he so cried out, and gave up the ghost, he said, ‘[TRULY THIS MAN WAS THE SON OF GOD]”’ (Mark 15:33-34. 38-39).

Jesus was crucified along with two thieves. It was customary after a crucifixion to break the legs; however, “when they came to Jesus, and saw that he was already dead, they did not break his legs; but, one of the soldiers with a spear pierced his side, and forthwith came there out blood and water” (John 19:33–34).

“[AND HE THAT SAW IT BARE RECORD AND HIS RECORD IS TRUE]: and he knoweth that he saith true, [THAT YE MIGHT BELIEVE]” (John 19:35).

This record of blood and water which came out of the pierced side of Jesus is significant as spoken of by John when he asked:

“Who is he that [OVERCOMETH THE WORLD], but he that [BELIEVETH THAT JESUS IS THE SON OF GOD]? [THIS IS HE THAT CAME BY WATER AND BLOOD, EVEN JESUS CHRIST]; not by water only, but [BY WATER AND BLOOD]. And it is [THE SPIRIT THAT BEARETH WITNESS, BECAUSE THE SPIRIT IS TRUTH]” (1 John 5:5–6).

“[THE SPIRIT ITSELF BEARETH WITNESS WITH OUR SPIRIT, THAT WE ARE THE CHILDREN OF GOD]: And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; [IF SO BE THAT WE SUFFER WITH HIM, THAT WE MAY BE ALSO GLORIFIED TOGETHER]” (Romans 8:16-17).

“[JESUS CHRIST] the same [YESTERDAY, AND TODAY, AND FOREVER]” (Hebrews 13:8). “Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, [WORLD WITHOUT END]. Amen” (Ephesians 3:21).
