GOSPEL OF GOD and OF JESUS CHRIST the GOSPEL OF LIGHT in the House of God? “[EVERY GOOD GIFT AND EVERY PERFECT GIFT IS FROM ABOVE], and cometh down from the [FATHER OF LIGHTS], with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning” (James 1:17).

The House of God is not in physical buildings with different names, but in JESUS THE SON, WHO IS OVER HIS OWN HOUSE, WHOSE HOUSE ARE WE, and we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end (Hebrews 3:6).

In our present time there are innumerable church denominations that have developed since the time of the early churches (Revelation 2:1-29).

However, we are to be very careful when we decide to have fellowship of worship in any church denomination because the word of God says:

“[KEEP THY FOOT] when thou goest to the house of God, [AND BE MORE READY TO HEAR], than to give the sacrifice of fools: [FOR THEY CONSIDER NOT THAT THEY DO EVIL]” (Ecclesiastes 5:1).

“[HE THAT BURNETH INCENSE, AS IF HE BLESSED AN IDOL]. Yea, they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delighteth in their abominations” (Isaiah 66:3).

“[THE SACRIFICE OF THE WICKED IS AN ABOMINATION] to the LORD: but the prayer of the upright is his delight. The way of the wicked is an abomination unto the LORD: but [HE LOVETH HIM THAT FOLLOWETH AFTER RIGHTEOUSNESS]” (Proverbs 15:8-9).

“For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, [WHAT SHALL THE END BE OF THEM THAT OBEY NOT THE GOSPEL OF GOD]? And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?” (1 Peter 4:17-18).

“[BUT IF OUR GOSPEL BE HID, IT IS HID TO THEM THAT ARE LOST]:

In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, [LEST THE LIGHT OF THE GLORIOUS GOSPEL OF CHRIST, WHO IS THE IMAGE OF GOD, SHOULD SHINE UNTO THEM].

For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus’ sake.

[FOR GOD, WHO COMMANDED THE LIGHT TO SHINE OUT OF DARKNESS], hath shined in our hearts, [TO GIVE THE LIGHT OF THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE GLORY OF GOD IN THE FACE OF JESUS CHRIST]” (2 Corinthians 4:3-6).

When King Jesus was here on this earth he was asked about his doctrine.

“Jesus answered them, and said, ‘[MY DOCTRINE IS NOT MINE, BUT HIS THAT SENT ME. IF ANY MAN WILL DO HIS WILL, HE SHALL KNOW OF THE DOCTRINE], whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself. He that speaketh of himself seeketh his own glory: but he that seeketh his glory that sent him, the same is true, and no unrighteousness is in him’” (John 7:16-18).

“Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. [HE THAT ABIDETH IN THE DOCTRINE OF CHRIST, HE HATH BOTH THE FATHER AND THE SON]” (2 John 1:9).

“And having an high priest over the house of God; Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works” (Hebrews 10:21-24).

Our Lord Jesus is very clear when he expressed when he comes, says: “Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven” (Matthew 7:21).

“For many are called, but few are chosen” (Matthew 22:14).

“[MY SHEEP HEAR MY VOICE, AND I KNOW THEM, AND THEY FOLLOW ME]: And [I GIVE UNTO THEM ETERNAL LIFE]; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand. I and my Father are one” (John 10:27-30).

“[HE THAT HATH RECEIVED HIS TESTIMONY HATH SET TO HIS SEAL THAT GOD IS TRUE]. For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him. The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into his hand” (John 3:33–35).

“[FOR THERE IS ONE GOD, AND ONE MEDIATOR BETWEEN GOD AND MEN, THE MAN CHRIST JESUS]: who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time” (1 Timothy 2:5–6).

“[JESUS CHRIST THE SAME YESTERDAY, AND TODAY, AND FOREVER]” (Hebrews 13:8). “Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, [WORLD WITHOUT END]. Amen” (Ephesians 3:21).

“Grace be with all them that [LOVE] our Lord Jesus Christ in [SINCERITY]. Amen” (Ephesians 6:23-24).

GOD’s word is TRUTH FOREVER! We must NEVER DOUBT the word of GOD: “By the word of the LORD were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth” (Psalm 33:6). “For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven” (Psalm 119:89).

We must keep before us every day the LOVE of the word of GOD and NOT the love of this world (1 John 2:17). “For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God” (1 Corinthians 3:19).

“For the LORD [GIVETH WISDOM: OUT OF HIS MOUTH COMETH KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING” (Proverbs 2:6).

“[WISDOM IS THE PRINCIPAL THING]; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding” (Proverbs 4:7).

“The fear of the LORD is the [BEGINNING OF WISDOM: AND THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE HOLY IS UNDERSTANDING]” (Proverbs 9:10).

“THY WORD IS A LAMP UNTO MY FEET, AND A LIGHT UNTO MY PATH” (Psalm 119:105).

“Seek ye out of the book of the LORD, and read” (Isaiah 34:16).

“[ALL SCRIPTURE IS GIVEN BY INSPIRATION OF GOD], and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in [RIGHTEOUSNESS]” (2 Timothy 3:16).

“For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little” (Isaiah 28:10).

“[KNOWING THIS FIRST, THAT NO PROPHECY OF THE SCRIPTURE IS OF ANY PRIVATE INTERPRETATION]. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost” (2 Peter 1:19–21).

“Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted [WORD], which is able to [SAVE YOUR SOULS]” (James 1:21).

Jesus Christ says: “It is written, that man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God” (Luke 4:4). “It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: [THE WORDS THAT I SPEAK UNTO YOU, THEY ARE SPIRIT, AND THEY ARE LIFE]” (John 6:63).

“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that [HEARETH MY WORD], and [BELIEVETH] on him that sent me, hath [EVERLASTING LIFE], and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life” (John 5:24).

“Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away” (Matthew 24:35).

“Blessed be the LORD God of Israel [FROM EVERLASTING, AND TO EVERLASTING]. Amen, and Amen” (Psalm 41:13).

We must keep FAITHFUL DAILY in the RIGHT direction FOLLOWING JESUS to get to New Heavens and a New Earth! “Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, [WORLD WITHOUT END]. Amen” (Ephesians 3:21).

“[JESUS CHRIST THE SAME YESTERDAY, AND TODAY, AND FOREVER]” (Hebrews 13:8).

“For there is [ONE GOD], and [ONE MEDIATOR BETWEEN GOD AND MEN], the man [CHRIST JESUS]: who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time” (1 Timothy 2:5–6).

“[ONE LORD, ONE FAITH, ONE BAPTISM, ONE GOD AND FATHER OF ALL], who is above all, and through all, and in you all. But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ” (Ephesians 4:5-7).

JESUS CHRIST says: “[NO MAN CAN COME TO ME], except the Father which hath sent me draw him: [AND I WILL RAISE HIM UP AT THE LAST DAY]” (John 6:44).

“No man, having put his hand to the plough, [AND LOOKING BACK], is fit for the Kingdom of God” (Luke 9:62).

“[IF ANY MAN WILL COME AFTER ME], [LET HIM DENY HIMSELF], and [TAKE UP HIS CROSS DAILY], and [FOLLOW ME]” (Luke 9:23).

“And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me” (Matthew 10:38).

“He that loveth his life shall lose it; and [HE THAT HATETH HIS LIFE IN THIS WORLD SHALL KEEP IT UNTO LIFE ETERNAL]. [IF ANY MAN SERVE ME, LET HIM FOLLOW ME; AND WHERE I AM, THERE SHALL ALSO MY SERVANT BE]” (Matthew 12:24-26).

“I am with you alway, [EVEN UNTO THE END OF THE WORLD]. Amen” (Matthew 28:20).

DOCTRINE OF CHRIST or Doctrines of Religion? “[HE THAT HATH THE SON HATH LIFE]; and [HE THAT HATH NOT THE SON OF GOD HATH NOT LIFE]. If [THE SON] therefore [SHALL MAKE YOU FREE, YE SHALL BE FREE] indeed” (John 8:36).

Over time numerous religions have evolved in this world with an emphasis on hierarchical organizations and their own doctrines. During his time here Jesus admonished his disciples against such things when they wanted to know who among them would be the leader, he provided an answer by drawing a comparison of the religious practices of that day.

JESUS CHRIST, the ONLY BEGOTTEN SON OF GOD spoke to his disciples and said: “[BUT ALL THEIR WORKS THEY DO FOR TO BE SEEN OF MEN]; they make broad their phylacteries, and enlarge the borders of their garments, and love the uppermost rooms at feasts, and the chief seats in the synagogues, and greetings in the markets, and to be called of men, Rabbi, Rabbi. But be not ye called Rabbi: for [ONE IS YOUR MASTER, EVEN CHRIST]; and all ye are brethren. And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven” (Matthew 23:5–9).

James, the brother of Jesus explained it best about religion said: “If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man’s religion is vain. [PURE RELIGION AND UNDEFILED BEFORE GOD AND THE FATHER IS THIS], To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world” (James 1:26-27).

To obtain THE LIGHT of JESUS CHRIST human beings must REPENT OF SINS and BELIEVE THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST! The GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST is the LIGHT OF THE GOSPEL.

“Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. [HE THAT ABIDETH IN THE DOCTRINE OF CHRIST, HE HATH BOTH THE FATHER AND THE SON]” (2 John 1:9).

“[FOR THERE IS ONE GOD, AND ONE MEDIATOR] between God and men, the man Christ Jesus: who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time” (1 Timothy 2:5–6).

“[ONE LORD, ONE FAITH, ONE BAPTISM, ONE GOD AND FATHER OF ALL], who is above all, and through all, and in you all. But unto [EVERY ONE OF US IS GIVEN GRACE ACCORDING] to the measure of [THE GIFT OF CHRIST]” (Ephesians 4:5-7).

JESUS also says: “[THE TIME IS FULFILLED], and the Kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel” (Mark 1:15).

“I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance” (Luke 5:32).

“For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me” (John 6:38).

“Except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish” (Luke 13:3).

“[FOR AS A SNARE SHALL IT COME ON ALL THEM THAT DWELL ON THE FACE OF THE WHOLE EARTH].

[WATCH YE THEREFORE, AND PRAY ALWAYS], that ye may be accounted [WORTHY TO ESCAPE ALL THESE THINGS] that shall come to pass, [AND TO STAND BEFORE] the Son of man” (Luke 21:35-36).

“[AND THIS GOSPEL OF THE KINGDOM SHALL BE PREACHED IN ALL THE WORLD] for a witness unto all nations; [AND THEN SHALL THE END COME]” (Matthew 24:14).

“[I AM HE THAT LIVETH, AND WAS DEAD; AND, BEHOLD, I AM ALIVE FOR EVERMORE], Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death” (Revelation 1:18).

We must keep on track FOLLOWING JESUS to THE END: We must not get tired and turn back but KEEP ‘running the race’ ENDURING TO THE END (Matthew 24:36)!

Our Lord JESUS says: “[NO MAN, HAVING PUT HIS HAND] to the plough, [AND LOOKING BACK, IS FIT] for the Kingdom of God” (Luke 9:62). “[BUT HE THAT ENDURETH TO THE END SHALL BE SAVED]” (Matthew 10:22).

“[TAKE HEED, BRETHREN], lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God. But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. [FOR WE ARE MADE PARTAKERS OF CHRIST, IF WE HOLD THE BEGINNING OF OUR CONFIDENCE STEDFAST UNTO THE END]” (Hebrews 3:12-14).

“For surely there is an [END]” (Proverbs 23:18).
